Mission to Guatemala 2007 - Nahum

Nahum is 4yrs old. He arrived at the orphanage with his elder brother, Kevin, 7yrs old.
They arrived because of an order of the Judge. They were abandoned in the municipality of Peten. The mother left them with a family that was very poor and could not afford to feed them as well as their own children. They had them for four months but found that it was impossible to keep minding them.
They brought them to the mother's family in San Andres. Unfortunately, that family also has many children and could not afford to maintain two more. Nobody knows where the mother has gone.
Nahum is in kindergarten now. He is too young to be going but he doesn't like to be left at home.
It appears that Nahum may suffer from asthma. He did not do very well with the climate change from the heat of Peten to the cold of the Highlands.
